We take fresh, hand cut strawberries, mix with sugar and fresh lemon juice and leave to infuse. This brings out all the natural juice from the strawberries. We then cook this succulent mixture in traditional open maslin pans. Stirring by hand, we wait until it reaches the perfect set to give a strawberry jam just like grandma used to make. A perennial favourite and a classic traditional preserve cooked using traditional time tested methods. It doesn’t get any better than this. Try it on toast in the morning, or in sandwiches for a traditional tea-time treat. Or take a trip back in time and indulge in our strawberry jam on fresh scones with clotted cream. Just amazing.
