By accessing this website and/or placing an order or requesting a delivery you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions you may not use or access this website.

References to this website in these terms and conditions apply to this website however you access it, including accessing this website through our mobile applications or a version of this website optimised for use on mobile devices.

Orders/delivery requests placed by using this website, along with access to it, is granted strictly in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully and print and keep a copy of them for your reference.

Queens Park Preserves has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, Queens Park Preserves hereby excludes liability for any claims, losses, demands, or damages of any kind whatsoever with respect to the website or the materials including, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or damages, whether arising from loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of use or otherwise and whether or not the possibility of such loss has been notified to us. The foregoing will apply whether such claims, loss or damages arise in tort, contract, negligence, under statute or otherwise. However, if you are a consumer your statutory rights are not affected. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or incorrectly described goods. For further information about your statutory rights contact your local authority, Trading Standards Department or Citizens Advice Bureau.

When any of these links are activated you will leave our website and Queens Park Preserves has no control over and will not accept responsibility, or liability, for any material or service contained on any website which is not under our control nor does the existence of such links represent any endorsement or other acceptance of responsibility or liability by Queens Park Preserves for any goods or services provided or available on such sites.

Contract creation and electronic contracting
The technical steps required to create the contract between you and us are as follows:

  • You place the order for your products on this website by pressing the complete checkout button at the end of the checkout process. You will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of simple instructions on this website.
  • We will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered.
  • Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the despatch to you of the Products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it in accordance with the instructions below.

Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:

  • The product you ordered is not available from stock.
  • We are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment.
  • A price or product description error is identified.
  • You do not meet the eligibility to order criteria set out in the main Terms and Conditions.

The contract will be concluded in English.

2. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to us, that’s why we will never release your personal details to any third party for mailing or marketing purposes. We will treat all your personal information as confidential (although we reserve the right to disclose this information in the circumstances set out below). We will keep your details on a secure server and we will fully comply with all applicable UK Data Protection and consumer legislation in place from time to time.

However, we would like to keep you up to date with a range of products and services provided by Queens Park Preserves. This includes news of special events, promotions, product launches and the like. Please note that you do not have to provide any information to use this website.

You have the right to request a copy of any information we hold on you at any time, and to have that information corrected if it is inaccurate. If you wish to view any information you have submitted, please contact us in writing.

When you shop on this website, we will ask you to input and will collect personal information from you such as your name, email address, billing address, delivery address, telephone number, product selections, credit card, or other payment information, and a password. You should be aware that this site is being monitored and may capture information about your visit that will help us improve the quality of our service.

We confirm that any personal information that you provide to us (or which is available on public registers) and any user information from which we can identify you, is held in accordance with the registration we have with the Data Commissioner’s Office. We keep a record of your purchases with us, which means we can create lists of your favourite items to make your shopping experience quicker and more convenient. It also means we can deal a lot quicker with any problems you may experience with your order.

3. Online shopping

General information and payment security

Delivery/collection restrictions
Delivery for all services will be available in restricted areas. We reserve the right to restrict deliveries in certain areas. This includes the right to withdraw our services to individual customers’ addresses if you are repeatedly unavailable to take delivery of your shopping at your chosen slot time or in other exceptional circumstances.

Delivery and collection arrangements

Deliveries and collection times vary.  Goods must be signed for at the delivery address (or upon collection), by you, or by your nominated representative who must be aged 18 or above. Under no circumstances will goods be left unattended, for example in a garage, or with anybody below the age of 18.

If no one is available to accept and sign for your delivery, a card will be left by our courier asking you to contact them at your earliest convenience to arrange an alternative delivery time. If you fail to rearrange delivery, your order will be cancelled. If you have not contacted our courier to rearrange a failed delivery or collection within 48 hours, the order will be cancelled and the cost of your order (excluding the cost of perishable items and the delivery charge) will be refunded to you.

Payment Security Policy

We understand your concerns with security and your peace of mind and safety are of the utmost importance to us. As a result, we have developed a highly secure online ordering facility. This is specifically intended to give you confidence when you use your credit or debit card to shop with us and when you tell us your personal details like your address or phone number.

Credit Card safety

We allow you the option to  store your card details with us, so that you can order from us again without needing to type your details in.  We only ever show you the last four digits of your card number on our public internet site and of course, this information is ‘for your eyes only’.

If you do not wish to store your card details with us, you can enter these each time you place an order with Queens Park Preserves.Once your order is processed, the payment details associated with your order are removed from our files.

Errors/shortages
Queens Park Preserves may decline to fulfil any order, including bulk purchase of items on promotion, or included in a special offer. In the event of there being errors or shortages, these should be brought to the attention of Queens Park Preserves no later than seven days after the delivery, or collection.

Nutritional information

Queens Park Preserves has produced nutritional information on this website for the general information of the public. It contains information gathered from various sources and, although the company believes it to be accurate at the time of publication, the company accepts no responsibility for, and makes no representation nor gives any warranty or undertaking express of implied as to the accuracy or completeness of the information.

General Pricing Policy

Prices and the availability of special offers may vary for future dated deliveries and collections. Where an item is unavailable and you have indicated that you will accept substitutions, an alternative will be supplied that may affect the price that you pay. If we substitute an item with a more expensive one, you’ll only pay the lower of the two prices (if the item we are substituting was of a fixed weight and therefore has a known price). Upon delivery or collection you will be made aware of unavailable items and their substitutes. You have the right to reject any substitutes offered and we will refund the amount that you have been charged for that product.

The prices stated on the site are inclusive of any VAT payable.

Cancellation rights

Please note that you are entitled to cancel this contract if you so wish, provided that you exercise your right no longer than eight working days after the day on which you receive the goods or services.

Please note that your right to return products does not apply to goods made to your specification, that have been clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

If you wish to exercise your right of cancellation, you are obliged to retain possession of the goods and take reasonable care of them. Notice of such cancellation must be given in writing to Queens Park Preserves (details as provided above).

Queens Park Preserves guarantees and returns

Customers are covered by our quality guarantee on every product. Should the customer not be entirely satisfied, Queens Park Preserves will refund and replace any item subject to due compliance by the customer with these Terms and Conditions. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or incorrectly described goods. For further information about your statutory rights contact your local authority, Trading Standards Department or Citizens Advice Bureau. Any refunds for unwanted substitutions or returned items will be made after the goods have been returned. Images are provided to help recognise products. Due to packaging redesign and improvements these may not reflect exactly the pack you receive.
